To combat the increasing menace of flytipping an offence under section 33 of the EPA 1990 and with the Environment Agency estimating 50,000 flytipping incidents many of which can be recovered by the respective local authorities, but when it comes to more specialist and dangerous hazardous waste there is a requirement for safe hands and qualified operatives.

For the last 10 years Meridian Technical Services Ltd have been providing a specialist hazardous waste recovery for industry. We are now please to announce a new division and service dedicated to removing illegal flytipping and dumping be it on waste land, lay-bys or outside civic community sites of all types of hazardous cylinders such as butane, propane, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, fire extinguishers and all types of compressed gases. Also included in our service is the recovery of white waste i.e.: fridges/freezers which contain Ozone depleting substances, all of which can be collected and made safe at our bespoke licensed site for hazardous waste.
